Juniper SSG-5 series:The Juniper Networks SSG 5 series is a security platform for small business sites and organizations. It integrates Juniper firewall, IPSec VPN, IPS, anti virus and web filtering in the WAN router hardware making it an ideal device. Optionally, the platform offers W-LAN and WAN connections for ISDN and analog ports.
These platforms deliver 160 Mbps firewall throughput and a fast 40 Mbps IPSec VPN throughput. It makes 4000/8000 sessions, 25/40 VPN tunnels and 10 security zones.
The SSG 5 is ideal for companies and organizations that offer a perfect mix of security and flexibility.

Juniper SSG-20 series:The Juniper Networks SSG 20 series is a security platform for small business sites and organizations. The platform provides protection against worms, trojans, spyware and malware (UTM) including stateful inspection firewall, IPSec VPN, IPS, anti virus (incl. anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti- phishing), anti spam and web filtering.
The SSG 140 platform offers 350 Mbps stateful firewall traffic and 100 Mbps IPSec VPN. It supports 8 onboard 10/100 + 2 10/100/1000 interfaces and 4 I/O extension slots for T1, E1, ISDN BRI S/T and serial connections.

Juniper SSG-300 series:The Juniper Networks SSG 300 series represents a new class of custom security appliances, which is the perfect mix of performance, security and LAN / WAN connectivity for regional and branch offices.
It integrates a Unified Thread Management (UTM) against worms, trojans and malware incl. stateful inspection firewall, IPSec VPN, IPS, anti virus (inclusive anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti-phishing) anti-spam, and web filtering.
The SSG 300 can be used as a traditional router or as a combination of router and firewall - reducing operating costs.
- SSG 320M: 450+ Mbps firewall traffic and 175 Mbps in IPSec VPN mode
- SSG 350M: 550+ Mbps firewall traffic and 225 Mbps in IPSec VPN mode
The SSG 300 series is suitable for regional and branch offices, medium-sized businesses and service providers with a security platform.

Juniper SSG-500 series:The Juniper Networks SSG 500 series is a security platform for mid-sized companies and organizations (50 to 1,000 employees). It integrates the Juniper/NetScreen firewall operating system ScreenOS to the WAN router hardware of the Juniper J-Series and WAN encapsulations of the Juniper router OS JUNOS. The SSG 520 and SSG 550 series are ideal for companies and organizations that need a perfect mix of security and flexibility - using the firewall as a WAN infrastructure device.
The Juniper Networks SSG 520 can reach up to 500 Mbps of IMIX firewall traffic, and up to 300 Mbps of IPSec VPN and 300 Mbps of IPS (Deep Inspection) traffic.
The Juniper Networks SSG 550 can reach up to 1 Gbps of IMIX firewall traffic, and up to 500 Mbps of IPSec VPN and 500 Mbps of IPS (Deep Inspection) Traffic. The SSG 550 supports redundant power supply and meets NEBS requirements.

Juniper NetScreen 5200 series:The Juniper/NetScreen 5000 series is one of the most powerful firewall / VPN appliance in the market. It supports up to 500 virtual systems and 8,000 VLAN sub interfaces - an interesting feature for ISPs, universities and large companies. With an extra license the firewall can deliver 500 VSYS easily. Administrative tasks can be made without any risks / effect for the whole system. Every virtual system offers a maximum of five security zones and a virtual router. By supporting up to 8,000 VLANs (500 VLANs per phisical interface) there is no port restriction anymore.
The Juniper/NetScreen 5200 reaches up to 4 Gbit firewall- and up to 2 GBit VPN 3DES performance. An active/active cluster with two Juniper/NetScreen 5200 reaches up to 8 GBit firewall performance. Depending on the configuration there are 24x 10/100 MBit and 2x 1GBit or 8x 1GBit interfaces.

Juniper NetScreen 5400 series: The Juniper/NetScreen 5000 series is the most powerful firewall / VPN appliance in the market. Up to 500 virtual systems and 8,000 VLAN subinterfaces make it an interesting device for ISPs, universities and large enterprises. With an extra license the firewall can handle up to 500 virtual firewalls. Administrative tasks can be easily delegated without any risk for the whole system. Every virtual system can offer a maximum of five security zones and a virtual router. By supporting up to 8,000 VLANs (500 VLANs per phisical interface) there are no restrictions anymore.
The Juniper/NetScreen 5400 reaches up to 12 Gbit firewall- and up to 6 GBit VPN 3DES performance. In active/active Cluster mode with two Juniper/NetScreen 5400 you can reach up to 24 GBit firewall performance. Depending on the configuration it offers 72x 10/100 MBit and 6x 1GBit or 24x 1GBit interfaces.
