Juniper EX 4200 series switches offer the Juniper Virtual Chassis™ technology, which allows connection and integration of up to 10 EX 4200 switches into a single logical system. With this "Virtual Chassis Technology" you get the reliability, performance, manageability and port densities of traditional chassis-based systems in an inexpensive and compact solution.
To ensure that application traffic is correctly prioritized, the whole EX-Series supports eight queues per port - more than enough to support different queues to create for example control planes, voice, video and multiple levels for data traffic, with additional room for other networks, such as building automation and security cameras.
You can start with a small Juniper high-performance EX switch solution and grow slowly. The same operating system is used on all switches: JUNOS. Extensive management tools, system monitoring and maintenance tools save time and money.
