We take protection of your personal data and compliance with all applicable data protection regulations very seriously. The following sections describe exactly how we ensure your protection and what kind of data is collected and for what purpose, as well as explaining how we use the collected data.

(hereafter referred to as: 'indevis GmbH' or 'indevis'). Further detailed information on indevis GmbH can be found on the Our company page.
2. Purpose of collection, processing or usage of data
The Internet presence of indevis GmbH is intended to provide general information on the company and its commercial activities. Data is collected, processed and used to pursue this purpose, along with the implementation of marketing strategies and measures to optimize the website itself. Data is not processed for any other purposes other than the relevant ones stated here.
3. What type of data do we collect?
3.1 Automatically logged information
Each time you visit the website, your IP address, all files invoked on the site, the volume of transferred data, the server response codes to requests sent by your browser, your browser type and the date and duration of your visit will be stored. indevis GmbH can in no way associate this data with particular persons. Moreover, data of this nature is likewise generated when accessing any other website on the Internet. In other words, this data collection is not an aspect that is specific to our website alone. The data is used statistically evaluated in summarized form for optimization of the websites.
3.2 Information provided by you
We save and process information that you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. Such data includes, for example, information that you enter in form or contact information boxes or select from lists and menus.
We also save and process personal information provided whenever you send an e-mail to a recipient at indevis. This refers to the contents of the e-mail themselves, as well as to data collected when queries are received by our e-mail server. Such data includes the user names of the sender and recipient, time stamps and, if applicable, error or rejection messages in the event of failed e-mail transmission.
3.2.1 Newsletters and information services
Newsletters or equivalent information services are offered on the indevis GmbH website. Should you wish to use these services, you will need to provide a valid e-mail address along with further contact information that enables us to verify that you are the genuine owner of the specified e-mail address or the owner who agrees to reception of the newsletter. The data that you enter in the input mask as part of the registration process will be collected. This data refers to the following items of information: Company name, form of address, name, e-mail address and telephone number. No additional data is collected. The data is used for sending the newsletter and for the information services. It is not passed on to any third parties. You can revoke your consent at any time to storage of the data, the e-mail address and use of the data for sending the newsletter. A link for revoking consent can be found in every newsletter. Furthermore, you can revoke your consent by canceling reception of the newsletter via the contact form on the website or by using any of the additional contact options given on the website.
The newsletter is sent using the "HubSpot" marketing software, which also stores the e-mail addresses and further information about the dispatch and analysis of the newsletter. In order to optimize the newsletter for you, we use this system to check, among other things, how often it is opened by readers and which links readers click and how often. Detailed information about our marketing software HubSpot can be found in Chapter 11 of this privacy policy.
In principle, our newsletters are free of charge and we are responsible for the editorial and conceptual content. A credit for the news is available upon request. indevis assumes no liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness and quality of the information provided. This also applies to all connections (links) to which this newsletter refers directly or indirectly. indevis is not responsible for the content of a page to which a link only provides access for use.
4. Who receives data from us?
4.1. Data transfer at indevis GmbH
The data you supply to us or that is otherwise collected on the website is transferred within indevis to recipients who are identifiably to take note of the data. Service providers and contractual partners who we engage to operate our website also have purely technical access to the data. These parties work for us in the processing of order data and have a contractual agreement with us to process order data.
4.2 Transfer of data to third parties
Personal data will be neither revealed, transferred, sold nor in any other way marketed to third parties, such as other companies or institutions, without your express consent or unless such a transfer of data is demanded in order to comply with contractual obligations between indevis and you, the user of the web pages.
4.3 Transfer of data in countries outside the EU or EEA
Personal data is neither transferred nor planned to be transferred to recipients in countries outside the EU or EEA (European Economic Area).
5. Expiry periods for deletion or blocking of data
We adhere to the principles of measures to avoid and minimize data. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is required to achieve the purposes stated in these regulations or as long as is specified for the many varied storage periods as laid out by the legal bodies. Once such periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted or blocked in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. Any data that is not covered by such specified expiry periods will be deleted or blocked once the purposes for which the data was collected no longer apply.

The indevis GmbH website uses so-called cookies in different places. Cookies are small text files that are created on your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain any viruses. Most of the cookies used by indevis are so-called session cookies. These files are automatically deleted once you exit our website. Should you wish to be notified about the use of cookies by your browser, or if you wish to exclude or confirm their use individually, please enable the corresponding settings in your browser.

Please contact the data protection officer at indevis GmbH in regard to your requests in this regard. Note that you will be required to provide proof of your identity before you can receive any information. You can request changes or revoke your consent to data storage and use by sending a corresponding request to us to take ongoing effect.
8. Security
indevis GmbH employs an extensive array of technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. We use encryption methods over HTTPS (for example, SSL) to protect your data during transmission. Our security strategies and measures are continuously improved within the framework of our ISO 27001 certification in line with technological advances. All staff members at indevis GmbH are obliged to observe the confidentiality of and compliance with data protection regulations as stated in the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act) and TKG (Telecommunications Act).
9. Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses its own cookies. The information generated by cookies regarding your use of the website is generally transferred to a Google server in the United States of America to be stored. Since IP anonymization is used for the service, your IP address is first shortened. Google uses this information on behalf of indevis to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services associated with use of the website and the Internet for indevis.
The IP address relayed from your browser as part of Google Analytics operation is never combined with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by means of appropriate setting of your browser software. However, we would like to inform you in this case that you may not be able under certain circumstances to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Moreover, you can prevent logging of the data generated by the cookie and in relation to your usage of the website (including your IP address) for Google in addition to processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on found at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
As an alternative to the browser add-on or in browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent future collection of data by Google Analytics (the opt-out add-on only works in the browser and only for this domain). An opt-out cookie is created on your device as a result of this action. If you delete your cookies in the browser, you must click the link again.
10. Analysis by WiredMinds
Our website uses counting pixel technology provided by WiredMinds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze visitor behavior. In connection with this, the IP address of the visitor is processed. The processing occurs only for the purpose of collecting company based information such as company name, for example. IP addresses of natural persons are excluded from any further processing by means of a whitelist. An IP address is not stored in LeadLab under any circumstances.
While processing data, it is our outmost interest to protect the rights of natural persons. Our interest in processing data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. At no time is it possible to draw conclusions from the collected data on an identifiable person. WiredMinds GmbH uses this information to create anonymized usage profiles of the visit behavior on our website. Data obtained during this process is not used to personally identify visitors of our website.
You can revoke authorization for this data analysis at any time by following the link: Exclude from tracking (Opt-out).
(A functionally necessary cookie will be set to permanently ensure no tracking by WiredMinds LeadLab occurs on this website).
11. HubSpot
We use HubSpot for marketing activities on our website. HubSpot is a software company from the USA with a branch HubSpot Ireland (www.hubspot.com). We use this integrated software solution as CRM tool and for our own marketing purposes. This includes email marketing which governs the sending of newsletters as well as automated mailings, social media publishing and reporting, contact management such as user segmentation and CRM, landing pages and contact forms.
HubSpot uses cookies, which allow us to analyse the use of the website. HubSpot evaluates the information collected (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of the visit and pages viewed) on our behalf so that we can generate reports on the visit and the pages visited. Information collected by HubSpot and the content of our website is stored on servers of HubSpot's service providers for the purpose of website analysis.
We have arranged hosting with HubSpot in their European data centers. However, since a transfer of personal data to the USA may still be possible, further protective mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the GDPR. To ensure this, we have agreed standard contractual clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 (2) lit. c DSGVO. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even through this contractual extension, we endeavour to obtain additional regulations and assurances from the recipient in the USA.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. You can permanently object to the collection of data by HubSpot and the setting of cookies by preventing the storage of cookies accordingly through your browser settings. You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time with future effect. In the footer of our website, you will find a link to the cookie settings (“Privacy Settings”) so that you can change your selection at any time.
12. LinkedIn Insight Tag
The conversion tool "LinkedIn Insight Tag" from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company is used on our website. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser which, among other things, enables the analysis of the following data: IP address, device and browser properties and page events. This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn only enables anonymized reports about the website target group and the display performance, but does not share any personal data with indevis! In addition, LinkedIn offers the option of retargeting via the Insight Tag, i.e. with the help of this data, indevis can display targeted advertising outside of its website without you being identified as the website visitor. For more information on data protection at LinkedIn, see the LinkedIn data protection information. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To deactivate the Insight Tag on the indevis website (“opt-out”), click here: Deactivating the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
13. Use of SurveyMonkey surveys
We use integrated customer surveys on our website, carried out with the SurveyMonkey tool from Momentive. SurveyMonkey uses certain cookies for the functionality of the surveys so that a survey can be carried out properly and securely. For example, multiple user voting should be avoided. An overview of the cookies used by SurveyMonkey and how they are used can be found on the SurveyMonkey / Momentive website: cookies used on survey pages.
14. Data protection for the applicant management system
If you apply to us via our job portal, your documents will be sent to us via the personnel administration and applicant management software HRworks. HRworks stores data exclusively on servers within the European Union. You can find a detailed overview of the subject of "data protection for the applicant management system" in our separate data protection declaration: https://www.indevis.de/datenschutzerklaerung_bewerbersystem
15. Amendments to our data protection regulations
We reserve the right to occasionally amend our data protection regulations in order to ensure that they always comply with the current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services in our privacy policy – for example, upon introduction of a new service. New data protection regulations would then apply as of your next visit to the website.
